today when i came home from school my dad was actually home. he had a doctors appointment eariler in the day and i guess he took the rest of the day off. So i asked him why and he just kept saying "We'll talk about it later." and everyone knows this isn't a good sign. so we went about making pasta sauce and i kept asking him, and he kept saying the same thing. talk about a broken record. so i went to my babysitting gig and came home. when i got home my mom was home and after i walked in the door my dad tells me to call my sister downstairs. on my way home i kept hoping it was something like "we are moving" or something else i could deal with. So once everyone is in the living room my dad tells us what his doctor said.

My dad has prostate cancer. and i am scared, the worse i've ever been. i just want to cry.
